Physiotherapy for pain and injury recovery in the Illawarra

I work with pain, injury and movement difficulties, helping you build the capacity for everyday life, work and sport. My approach combines musculoskeletal physiotherapy, exercise rehabilitation and a nervous-system-informed lens, guided by your assessment.

I see private, NDIS, WorkCover NSW, CTP and Medicare patients in clinic at Dapto and Unanderra.

What can physiotherapy help with?

  • Back and neck pain

  • Sports and training injuries

  • Muscle, tendon and joint problems, including shoulder, hip, knee and ankle presentations

  • Post-operative rehabilitation

  • Persistent or recurring pain and movement limitations

  • Neurological and complex presentations, where physiotherapy is appropriate to your needs

I assess your symptoms, relevant history, movement and physical capacity, then work with you on a practical plan. If your presentation needs another service or further investigation, I discuss the next step with you.

Treatment guided by assessment

Your plan may include exercise rehabilitation, progressive strength and conditioning, manual therapy, dry needling or movement rehabilitation. Where relevant, I also consider sensitivity, body awareness, pacing and recovery alongside physical rehabilitation.

These are options, not a checklist. I explain why a treatment may be useful, discuss your preferences and review your response. See how I work with The PRIME Method →

Tools and further training

My additional training informs the options I can draw on when they are appropriate to your assessment and goals:

  • Dry Needling — Level 1 & Level 2

  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation

  • Mental Health Physiotherapy — Level 1

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Chronic Pain

  • Cupping Therapy

  • Kinesio Taping

  • Kinetic Link Training — Level 1: Functional Strength and Conditioning

  • SFMA — Level 1

Hands-on techniques and other tools may support symptom management or movement as part of a broader rehabilitation plan. They are selected for your needs and preferences.

Independent care

I don’t work to visit quotas. Follow-up recommendations have a clear clinical purpose and are guided by your needs, progress and goals.
